Dani grew up in Sammamish, Washington and lived there her whole childhood before attended college at Seattle Pacific University. During her time at SPU, she traveled to Russia on a mission trip to love and serve at two separate orphanages. This was her first experience overseas and her first exposure to the orphan crisis happening around the world. This trip changed her life and as a result, she decided to pursue a career helping children find permanence.
Dani graduated from SPU with a degree in Psychology in 2009 and a few months later, started an internship at Antioch Adoptions that turned into a position as a case manager in 2010. Dani is honored and humbled by the opportunity to work with families who are stepping out in faith to care for children in our own backyard who need a loving home.
In her spare time, Dani runs a photography business, enjoys quality time with her family and friends, traveling, spending time in nature, hanging with her dogs, chickens and ducks, cooking and eating good food, meeting new people, and relaxing on the couch with her husband.
