Melissa Pemberton has been a Case Manager for Antioch Adoptions, Spokane for a little over two years. She has 10 years of experience working with low-income, high risk families in various capacities with the most recent being an Adoptions Social Worker for the state of Washington. Melissa volunteered with Teen MOPS, a support group for teenage mothers in the Spokane area, for four years as well.
Melissa and her husband Jon have three daughters and they live in Cheney, WA. Their community in and around the Cheney area is large and they host weekly Bible studies in their home. Melissa enjoys running, reading, spending time with her family, and cooking. She feels so blessed to work for Antioch as it allows her to work with those involved in the foster care system while still being available for her family.
Melissa’s family has a heart for the children and families involved in the foster care system. Her husband is a Foster Care Licensor for the state of Washington and has worked with high risk families for over 10 years. Volunteering and speaking to groups on foster care has become the norm for Melissa’s husband and her children are learning first-hand how to love as Jesus would.
