Tamara has always had a passion for working with children and families, especially children who come from trauma.
Through previous jobs, Tamara fist noticed the need for loving families to step forward and provide a forever home to children in foster care. As the thought of helping and caring for children in the foster system grew heavier on her heart, she wondered what supports are being provided to families who want to take in children from foster care and what she could do to help. Through this desire and many prayers, Tamara began her work as a case manager at Antioch Adoptions. Tamara has her Masters in Counseling Psychology and specialized training in child development, childhood trauma, and attachment.
Tamara loves spending time with her family and friends, whether going outdoors for a fun activity or sitting in and having a cup of coffee.
