Let us introduce you to 15-year-old Katherine who was recently placed with one of our families! The first call to Child Protective Services (CPS) about Katherine came when she was just two months old. Numerous additional calls regarding her safety were made in the years following. She was removed from her home permanently when she was in 1st grade at 7 years old. She has now been in foster care for the past 8 years and has been in numerous foster homes over the years. She has been legally free to be adopted for many of those 8 years. If not for YOU, Katherine would not be in her forever home today..
