When you donate stocks to Antioch Adoptions, you are giving more in terms of value, without paying more out of pocket. Giving appreciated stock is more tax-efficient than cash. When you donate stocks directly to Antioch Adoptions, neither you nor Antioch Adoptions will have to pay capital gains tax on such investments.
